I bring over 8 years of dedicated experience assisting professional mariners. My career in the industry began with 7 years at the Maritime Institute in San Diego (formerly Training Resources Ltd Maritime Institute), where I served as the USCG Merchant Mariner Credential Consultant, guiding students through course selection, enrollment, and the complex certification process.

In 2024 - 2025, I held the distinct honor of serving as a Professional Mariner Recruiter/Outreach Specialist for the NOAA, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, OMAO, Office of Marine and Aviation Operations, 15 research vessels. This role was shortened due to the 2025 Reduction in Force Executive Order.

My foundation in the maritime industry was built during my service in the U.S. Navy as a Petty Officer Second Class Engineman. It provided the practical experience essential for a career assisting professionals merchant mariners.
